One way to get fresh vegetables without pesticides, is to
plant itself. The problem is, not everyone has the land for planting. Therefore
there is a way, where you can grow vegetables, using water as a medium soil
substitute, or called hydroponics.
Hydroponics is a method of farming using water media, so it
does not require soil or a large area. Hydroponics is a method of cultivation,
use water enriched with nutrients, not soil. This makes parameters such as
nutrition, pest control, and lighting more manageable.
Hydroponics does not require the use of toxic herbicides and
pesticides, making it more environmentally friendly, and vegetables produced
will be healthier. Farming with hydroponics method, will produce a crop of good
quality and free of harmful chemicals, which is certainly much healthier.
Hydroponic plant growth could reach 50% faster compared to
conventional models. The reason is because, hydroponic plants directly get food
from nutrient-rich water. This condition also makes hydroponic plants do not
require large roots to find nutrients. Because of the energy needed for growth
of roots a little bit, then the rest of the energy can be channeled to other
parts of the plant.
Hydroponic plants grow healthier, stronger, and clean. This
method is also more environmentally friendly, because it does not require as
much water gardening in the normal way. Because hydroponic not require watering
at all.
The materials to make the hydroponic growing media:
1. Plastic bottle of mineral water ex
2. Cain to the axis (fabric panels nicer)
3. Nutrients hydroponics
4. Growing media (rockwool, sponge, husk charcoal, gravel,
sand, broken bricks)
The steps to create:
1. Cut the bottle into two parts (upper and lower)
2. Drill the upper area of the bottle neck to attach axis
and airflow
3. Put the bottle top to the bottom of the bottle by way
behind, plug axis connects the top to the bottom
4. Fill the bottle top with the planting medium (rockwool,
sponge, rice husk, etc. choose one)
5. Planting seedlings or sow 2-3 seeds to plant seedlings
growing media
6. Flush with hydroponic nutrient solution
7. Put in place that is not exposed to rain, but still be
able to sunlight
